Woggle Camp with Tootles + Nibs

Full Day: 10am-8pm (with 1 hour lunch break)
Half Day AM: 10am-1:30pm
Half Day PM: 2:30pm-6pm

Tootles + Nibs’ Woggle Camp is jam-packed with activities and games to suit intrepid explorers. Join a patrol, make flags, craft catapults, build dens, learn knots, sing songs, tell stories, toast marshmallows, forge friendships, and play games. A cool camp where you make the rules! Remember the Woggle Camp is outdoors so dress for the weather.

Example day:

MORNING SESSION:

10am-10:30am – Flag Making Workshop
Each morning session starts with creating new camp flags to decorate the camp.

10:30am-11am – Flag Raising
We raise the new camp flag and decide on the camp rules for the day.

11am-11:30am – Camp Challenges/Den Building
Let off some steam playing classic camp games or head to the woods to build a den for your patrol.

11:30am-12:30pm – Craft Workshop
Clay modelling, mask making, catapult making – time to get creative in our of our fantastic craft activities.

12:30pm-1pm – Camp Fire Show Rehearsal
Work with our camp leaders to get ready for the evening talent show.

1pm-1:30pm – Patrol Contests
Time to compete in our main patrol contests. Tug of war, rubber chicken tossing, rounders. Be sure to come to the campfire for prize giving!

1:30pm-2:30pm – Lunch Break
1-hour lunch break. Parents/Guardian must return to the camp to look after their children. Lunch is not provided, however you’re very welcome to picnic within the camp if you’d prefer not to leave and come back.

AFTERNOON SESSION:

2:30pm-3pm – Craft Workshop

3pm-3:30pm – Patrol Contests
Time to compete in our main patrol contests. Tug of war, rubber chicken tossing, rounders. Be sure to come to the campfire for prize giving!

3:30pm-4:30pm – Camp Fire Show Rehearsal
Work with our camp leaders to get ready for the evening talent show.

4:30pm-5pm – Hang time
Time to hang out, play games, chat and forge friendships.

5pm-6pm – Camp Challenges/Den Building
Let off some steam playing classic camp games or head to the woods to build a den for your patrol.

6pm-7pm – Supper Break
1-hour supper break. Parents/Guardian must return to the camp to look after their children. Supper is not provided, however you’re very welcome to picnic within the camp if you’d prefer not to leave and come back.

7pm-8pm – Campfire Show
The highlight of our day. Come and toast marshmallows, sing songs and watch a devised show around the campfire. Everyone’s invited!

Helpful information:

What the ballyhoo is this? Woggle camp is our take on a classic scout/summer camp. We provide a combination of games, challenges, theatre and craft activities throughout the day.

Can I leave my children? Yes. Parents or guardians are welcome to stay, however, we are also happy for you to leave your children with us. Medical and child welfare forms must be filled in and emergency contact numbers give. We ask that parents/guardians keep their mobile phones on if they are not staying.

How long is a session? Morning sessions run from 10am until 1:30pm with a break for lunch at 1:30pm until 2:30pm. Afternoon sessions run from 2:30pm until 6pm with a break for supper from 6pm (and then any child and parents are invited back between 7-8pm for a campfire session if they’d like to join.

Is food provided? We break for Lunch and Supper. Food is not provided, parents/guardians must supervise their children during this period. You are welcome to have a picnic in our camp. If you feel like your child would like a snack during their session please give this to one of our camp leaders.

Can I book a whole day? Yes, you can book a whole day. The morning/afternoon session will have different activities. Remember you must supervise your children at lunch and supper time.

My child has rehearsed a show for the campfire but only attended the morning session. Can they come to the campfire? Yes, all parents and children are invited to our campfire regardless of which session you booked.

What happens if it rains? We keep on going. Please ensure that your child is appropriately for the weather.

What are your Covid precautions? We will issue hand sanitiser at regular intervals. Equipment will be sanitised before and after use. Temperatures will be taken at the start of each session. Any children displaying symptoms will not be admitted.
