Our British brasserie
At the beating heart of Birch (Selsdon) sits Vervain, our seasonal British brasserie serving contemporary dishes in breathtaking surroundings.
The award-winning British chef, Lee Westcott, brings his farm to fork ethos to Birch (Selsdon), taking cues from the estate’s major rewilding project.


Booking a table
Anyone can book a table (i.e. you don’t have to be a member or staying with us).
All non-members and hotel guests must make a reservation in advance.


What’s on the menu?
Vervain serves daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and sweets.
For breakfast we have a full buffet selection with hot and cold dishes that anyone can enjoy for £25 (kids aged 9 and younger eat breakfast for free).
A set lunch menu is available Monday to Friday, with 2 courses for £19 or 3 for £25. And on Saturday we serve brunch from midday until 4pm: expect tipples, sarnies, pancakes and puddings.
