Swim back in time
The 1930s was a golden era for lidos. Everyone flocked to them to swim, socialise, and savour the glitz and glam of Art Deco design. In short, Lidos were THE place to be.
Fast-forward to today, and a new golden era is underway at the Birch (Selsdon) Lido: colourful loungers, pretty parasols, restored huts, a decorative DJ deck, year-round fire pits… This is what a Great Gatsby party would have looked like.
Wet your appetite
Waterside wellness and workouts. Chilled afternoon aperitifs. Poolside events and parties. Do what you like, as long as you’re having fun while doing it.
Lee Westcott has sorted out all your food and drink dreams and desires. There’ll be frozen and slushies, spritz and sours, oranges and fizz, sarnies and salads, snacks and sweet treats.

OPENING TIMES
Hotel guests and members can enjoy our heated pool during the following hours:
Daily Early Swim – 9am till 10am (adults only)
Sunday – Wednesday – 9am till 7pm
Thursday – Saturday – 9am till dusk.
LIDO TOWELS
Hotel guests – Cosy pool towels will be waiting for you in your room on.
Members and guests – Yep you too can grab a towel at the pool.
THE KIDS
Sunday – Wednesday 10am till close (closing times differ depending on daylight etc)
Thursday – Saturday 10am – 3pm (after 3pm is adults only these days)
