Pottery: Coat hooks
Friday 12th November: 11:30am & 4pm
2 hours long
Delete distractions and get creative with clay. In this session you will be guided by our expert teachers to learn how to hand-build your very own “Birch style” coat hooks.
Part of our new wider pottery offer at Birch, this session is suitable for beginners and intermediate potters working within our new and improved studio. It follows the design and style of our resident ceramist Emma-Louise Payne, where you will create your own unique coat hook shape and then choose your colour glaze for how you would like it to be finished. After the class your work will be fired, glazed and sent to you at a later date.
Need to know:
This class is an introductory throwing session where participants learn processes of hand-building with clay. Due to the drying time and different processes of firing and glazing, you do not take anything home with you on the day. However we will post creations out to you, or you are welcome to come back and collect at a later date if you prefer.
£50 / person
