Half Term: Young Adventurers Club

Friday 30th – 3pm

2 hours long.

Looking to reduce your sapling’s screen time? Then discover bushcraft, Birch style, at our Young Adventurer’s Club. Trained Forest School Leaders deliver survival skills training and a wild time in nature. From a mud kitchen to outdoor living, children will discover natural arts and crafts, build dens, light fires, track animals and interact with the changing elements…

Twilight Trek & Track: Journey to the depths of the forests that surround Birch as we find out what creatures have made their home on the estate. Develop owl ears, eagle eyes, deer stalking steps and many more tracking skills as we explore signs around dens, read the natural navigation features on the trees, and make a basecamp as a team. Scavenge for firewood and materials to build camouflaged observation hideouts before we enjoy refreshments and eventually return to Birch. Bring spare clothes, a waterproof jacket and decent shoes. Recommended for 7-14 years.
