Half Term: Young Adventurers Club

Sunday 1st November – 10.30am

2 hours long.

Looking to reduce your sapling’s screen time? Then discover bushcraft, Birch style, at our Young Adventurer’s Club. Trained Forest School Leaders deliver survival skills training and a wild time in nature. From a mud kitchen to outdoor living, children will discover natural arts and crafts, build dens, light fires, track animals and interact with the changing elements…

Let our experts guide you as collected wood and forest treasures take on new forms. From potato peelers for the little ‘uns to knives for the older adventurers, we will shape, whittle and peel creatures, gnomes, elves and more down in the woods. Learn the ancient art of hazel coppicing and how this impacts the biodiversity at Birch and take home a wooden treasure for keeps.
