Half Term: Young Adventurers Club

Saturday 31st – 10.30am

2 hours long.

Looking to reduce your sapling’s screen time? Then discover bushcraft, Birch style, at our Young Adventurer’s Club. Trained Forest School Leaders deliver survival skills training and a wild time in nature. From a mud kitchen to outdoor living, children will discover natural arts and crafts, build dens, light fires, track animals and interact with the changing elements…

The magic continues with a Harry Potter themed session as we search for Snitches, enjoy a game of Quidditch in the glade and use clay to face paint a realistic Harry scar (specs optional!). The sorting hat will choose our houses as we prepare a forest feast and wait for the phoenix… maybe we will hear or spot Hedwig or Pigwidgeon the owls as we use the rope swing and slackline in the enchanted forest…

Need to know:

1) Registration forms found at Reception need to be completed at least 30 minutes before the session starts to maximise the activity time.

2) Children must wear closed toe shoes (no sandals) and trousers (not shorts or dresses). T-shirt’s are fine. Do bring a full change of clothes in a bag to each session, including an extra layer and waterproof jacket if rain is forecast.

3) Please bring a named water bottle.

4) Children under 5 need to be accompanied by an adult.
