Half Term: Young Adventurers Club

Tuesday 27th – 10.30am

2 hours long.

Looking to reduce your sapling’s screen time? Then discover bushcraft, Birch style, at our Young Adventurer’s Club. Trained Forest School Leaders deliver survival skills training and a wild time in nature. From a mud kitchen to outdoor living, children will discover natural arts and crafts, build dens, light fires, track animals and interact with the changing elements…

Today we turn to defence and attack and drop into some STEM challenges. Find your inner warrior and build catapults, slingshots or blowpipes. Using found natural items as projectiles, we will practice and develop your aim and power, whilst keeping safe and mindful of our tribe. Elders can be versed in the art of bow making, crafters can make a quiver, targets will be erected in branches and safety a continuous conversation whilst in the capable hands of our qualified teacher… just leave the Birch boars in peace!
