Enjoy ingredients grown on-site. Produce made in-house. Open-flame cooking. Tasty treats and daring drinks.

Given recent months, Robin Gill – who’s in charge of all our food and drink – has created numerous new ways for you to feast on food.

Kitchen

Valeries

Valeries is our all-day dining restaurant in the middle of the Mansion House. Head there 7am-10pm for grilled goodies and sweet treats. Meat and fish are cooked on the grill. Pastas and salads are packed with flavour and fizz.

Looking for something a bit special? Hide out in The Gun Room for dinner – a private area that seats six. You can book through our Experience Makers.

Our Bars

Sip water or wine at the Links Bar – where you can also grab a snack to eat wherever you wish. Or head outside for a drink under the stars in the garden. Need a nightcap? Our restaurants and bars close at 10pm, but if you’re sleeping over then you can order bottled cocktails, bottles of wine, and other goodies direct to your room post 10pm.

Sadly the Frick Bar and Spitz Bar are a little too small for 2020 drinking so are both still in lockdown. 

 

Wine

Interactive Bakery

Our Bakery produces fresh bread and pastries for the whole site.

Regular baking classes take place here, and you can eat the Bakery’s best bits for breakfast in Valeries or at the Store.

 

The Store

The Store offers speciality coffee and tea, sandwiches, salads, and pastries throughout the day. You can also buy Birch-made produce – from our charcuterie to our vegetables.

Outdoor Eating

We’re big on garden feasts, laid-back picnics, and fizzing drinks trolleys.

There are BBQs run by us, or (in the summer months) DIY ones ready for you.
