The Zebra Riding Club is a restaurant led by nature, and the epitome of Birch. In partnership with Robin Gill, and reflecting his philosophy, The Zebra Riding Club uses the farm, wood, and produce surrounding it throughout the year.

Anyone can book lunch or dinner here whether you’re sleeping over, a member, or just visiting us to specifically eat at The Zebra Riding Club.

The festive season

Robin Gill and Ben Rand – who are in charge of all our food at Birch (Cheshunt) are creating dishes and feasts with all the bells and whistles on. From Christmas day lunches to special NYE dinners in The Zebra Riding Club and Valeries, to NYD brunches all around Birch.


Food and drink

Cooking is straightforward. Dishes are unfussy. And everything is put together for a reason.

À la carte menu

An à la carte menu is now available at The Zebra Riding Club for dinner on Wednesday and Thursday, and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Our tasting menu will run as usual (and be the sole focus for Friday and Saturday dinners, and for groups over 6 people), but the new à la carte option means you can enjoy more dishes if you’re staying with us for more days.

Whatever menu you munch from, expect a showcase of culinary techniques and a selection of seasonal flavours. Yum yum yum.
