Easter Funday

Join us this Easter at Birch as we present a full day of fun and games on Saturday 8th April. The centrepiece of the daytime will be our Easter Funday experience for children hosted by Active London.

Expect larger than life characters and fun challenges along the way, as each group is guided through two zones that will culminate in each child winning an Easter egg.

This event is open to all (members/hotel guests/general public). All including children over 4, must book a place to get access to Birch (Cheshunt) and the rest of the days event.

(general public access: 9:30am-11:30pm) – All children must be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian – Under 4’s are free and do not need to register.

The Easter Triathlon

In the month when the London Marathon is hot on our heels we thought we’d show willing so join us for the Birch (Cheshunt) first ever Easter Triathlon. Ride through the space, Run through the forest, and Swim to the finish line at the Lido.

Fuel on route – infused (cucumber and mint) refreshments, seasonal citrus wedges, date, almond and cacao energy balls.

Suitable for all fitness levels so get booking as places are limited.

Comedy House Party

Get involved in an immersive comedy night full of absurd characters for you to meet, games for you to play and lots of laughter to be had! Featuring stand up performances from some of the most talented comedians in the UK.

Kids Party: Easter Saturday

After a full day of fun and games… we present more fun and games! Run by Active London, this Easter Saturday Kids Party is childcare with a wig on. Meaning you can leave your kids for 4-hours.

Yoga for Children

A life-time passion for yoga since first practicing with her parents, has evolved into a new outlet for teaching children. Since becoming a mother, Fred is now focused on sharing her practice with our future generation.

Sound bath infused with Reiki

Sarah aka Dr EnergyFlow, is a Qualified Reiki Master based in London. She uses the the combination of reiki and sound to accelerate the feeling of wellbeing. You should feel life in flow and a energetic reset after the session…

Reiki can help boost your confidence, shift physical and emotional discomforts and even help you find more clarity, purpose and focus. Reiki is powerful enough to redistribute your energy for you to be in the flow. Everyone benefits from reiki in different ways. In this group session, you can expect to relax as you will be lying down listening to affirmations and vibrational sounds as she gives a little personal reiki to each attendee.

Easter Pottery: Hand-Building

Delete distractions and get creative with clay. In this 2-hour session you will be guided by our expert teachers to learn how to hand-build your very own set of ceramics, from vases to bowls, mugs, egg cups and more. You choose: you make.

Pizza Making class

(90 mins long)

Who doesn’t love pizza? We promise it also tastes even better when it’s freshly baked pizza made by yourself! In this 1.5 hour-long masterclass you will work in the Interactive Bakery with the Birch bakery team to learn and prepare every step of the pizza making process.

Easter Monday Pooch Parade

OPEN TO ALL – FREE DAY PASS

Fashion week may be over but your doggie could still have what it takes to make the family proud. Dress your pooch to impress the crowd and you could take home the top prize. Whilst showing off your hounds sartorial talents is the name of the game, owners are free to dress to complement your best friends efforts.

Dog registration is free & open to all!

Easter Sunday lunch at The Zebra Riding Club

The main event… A Sunday lunch that’s more of a banquet than a bite to eat at The Zebra Riding Club.

Funday: Create and Play

In our ‘Create & Play’ sessions, kids will be entertained with group games, creative workshops, fancy dress and acting and more.

Pottery: Make and Paint (Kids)

A special kids-focused pottery session during school holidays called ‘Make & Paint’. In this session children will work with air-drying clay to make their own creations, as well as decorate with paints.

Spring Awakening Breath & Yoga Workshop

After the stillness of Winter, we need to wake up our Shakti and emerge into a more energising and vibrant state of being. Join Daniela Rubino Master Oxygen Advantage Instructor for a 90 minute yoga and breathwork session focusing on the breath and how to optimise focus/concentration and reduce stress. Daniela will outline the science behind the breath and its link to anxiety/stress.

Ostara | Spring Cacao Ceremony & Sound Healing

Join us for an afternoon of spring celebration, sacred circle, magical medicine and harmonious sound bathing – facilitated by Birch resident Molly Chinner. The Cacao Spirit is a keeper of ancient, sacred wisdom. Mama Cacao holds the vibrations of kindness, unconditional love, and joy, opening a channel for loving connection with yourself and others.

Cacao’s energy is healing, motherly and very gentle – speaking directly to the heart. When we connect with the heart’s energy our voice may speak from a place of deeper intelligence carrying vibrations of peace and harmony.
